‘Harry Potter’ alum Rupert Grint heading to Broadway

Ron Weasley’s coming to Broadway!

Rupert Grint — the ginger-haired Hogwarts kid from all eight Harry Potter movies — will make his New York stage debut in the revival of “It’s Only a Play” this fall.

Grint will play the part of a wunderkind director in Terrence McNally’s 1982 comedy about the theater, which starts previews Sept. 4. The 25-year-old Brit will be in very good company: His co-stars include Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, together again after “The Producers” and “The Odd Couple.”

Then again, Grint’s hardly the first Harry Potter star to play here: Daniel Radcliffe is on the boards through July 20 in “The Cripple of Inishmaan,” his third Broadway outing so far.
