Ex-EMT gets six months for owning pipe bomb & weapons arsenal

A weepy former FDNY medic teared up again Wednesday as he was sentenced to six months behind bars for possessing a pipe bomb and an arsenal of illegal weapons in his Brooklyn home.

Victor Cadicamo, 29, pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment on July 9 after he was caught with the pipe bomb, another improvised explosive device, five firearms and a rifle when cops went to his Brighton Beach address to investigate a domestic dispute between the EMT and his wife on April 10.

A court source said Cadicamo also wept when he pleaded guilty earlier this month, and the emergency worker also reportedly cried in a jailhouse interview.

“He’s very remorseful. He lost his job and he has an order of protection against his wife and children,” said defense attorney Julie Clark.

An FDNY spokesman confirmed that Cadicamo had resigned Monday.

Cadicamo had originally been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a “B” felony that can carry a 25-year sentence, court records show.
