Healthy profit for Bloomberg CEO’s UWS mansion

Former Mayor Bloomberg’s right-hand man, Dan Doctoroff, has made a huge profit on his Upper West Side mansion, after he sold the property for some $10 million more than he bought it for 20 years ago.

Doctoroff — who is CEO of Bloomberg LP — and his wife Alisa paid $1 million for the stunner at 309 W. 91st in 1994 — and just sold it for $11.25 million, city records show.

Once featured in Architectural Digest, the 25 foot wide manse is five stories tall. It comes with an elevator and was built in 1896 by famed architect Clarence True. Top designer Victoria Hagan and architect Oliver Cope restored it with a glamorous modern makeover.

The home has seven bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms and is a gracious 6,430 square feet. It is on a tree-lined street around the corner from Riverside and Hippo Park — a neighborhood favorite for kids.

The mansion includes a formal dining room, and a living room with floor to ceiling bay windows, a wet bar and a sitting room with a wood burning fireplace, along with a chef’s kitchen with an eat-in area and a landscaped garden.

There’s also a library, natch, with custom paneling, built-ins and a gas fireplace — along with a finished basement with a gym, lots of storage and a full staircase with sky lights leading to a “possible roof garden,” according to the listing.
