1. Ray Donovan

Showtime
Ray (Liev Schreiber) forces Mickey (Jon Voight) to return to LA and brings him to FBI agent Ed Cochran (Hank Azaria), who puts Mickey on parole and then holds a press conference taking full credit for finding and shooting Sully Sullivan.

Kate McPherson (Vinessa Shaw), a Boston reporter, doesn’t believe the FBI’s story. Desperate to control Mickey, Ray corrupts a parole officer (Wendell Pierce) and has him take over Mickey’s case. Kate begins to investigate Sully’s death and decides to come to Los Angeles. With Paula Malcomson and Dash Mihok.

2. Taxi Brooklyn

A Department of Corrections prisoner transport van is attacked by two SUVs. Two female prisoners are killed and four female inmates escape. One of the escapees is Eleanor Wilson (Erin Wilhelmi), a witness to the murder of Cat’s (Chyler Leigh) father. Cat and Leo (Jacky Ido) track down the escapees and Cat finally uncovers what happened to her dad, bringing her a step closer to finding his killer.

3. Hotel Hell

Monday, 9 p.m., Fox

In the searing heat of New Mexico, Gordon Ramsay visits the Meson De Mesilla, a place that looks more like a penitentiary than a luxury boutique hotel. On arrival, he is asked to sign a waiver to promise he won’t damage the walls, and things go quickly downhill from there. He discovers that the hotel’s owner, Cali Szczawinski, is more interested in singing than managing the hotel. In fact, she seems to think she’s Cher. Ramsay wishes he could turn back time and be anywhere other than Las Cruces.

4. Masters of Sex

Sunday, 10 p.m., Showtime

Masters (Michael Sheen) begins a new job at Memorial Hospital under Betty’s (Annaleigh Ashford) extortion terms only to discover that his boss insists he leave Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) behind in favor of a handpicked secretary. Meanwhile, Johnson is torn between pressing Masters to rehire her and staying by DePaul’s (Julianne Nicholson, far right) side as her condition worsens.

5. The Last Ship

With Rachel (Rhona Mitra) close to a breakthrough on her vaccine, she, Chandler (Eric Dane) and XO Slattery (Adam Baldwin) lead a small team into the jungles of Nicaragua on a mission to find monkeys for her vaccine trials. While there, they find much more than they bargained for. They come across a former drug kingpin who will stop at nothing to maintain his stranglehold on his oppressed society. Chandler and his men find themselves in a huge moral dilemma over whether to eliminate this menace or take what they need and continue on with their mission.

6. Girl Meets World

Friday, 8:30 p.m., Disney

Cory (Ben Savage) struggles with Riley (Rowan Blanchard) growing up when he learns she’d rather go to the school dance then participate in their yearly tradition of riding the Coney Island roller coaster. Simultaneously, he is dealing with the outcome of giving Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) a failing grade. Also stars Danielle Fishel.

7. True Blood

Sunday, 9 p.m., HBO

Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer) go to Dallas for a fundraiser, but are also on the lookout for an elusive foe. Meanwhile, Sookie (Anna Paquin) is a reluctant host for a mainstreaming party in Bon Temps; Andy (Chris Bauer) carefully considers an important decision; and Bill (Stephen Moyer) recalls his human history.

8. The Strain

Sunday, 10 p.m., FX

The four survivors begin manifesting strange symptoms, such as fever, a ringing in the ears and a taste for blood, but Eph (Corey Stoll with Sean Astin) and Nora’s (Mia Maestro) attempt to quarantine them is thwarted as the disinformation campaign begins. Meanwhile, in jail, Setrakian (David Bradley) receives a surprise visit from an old, waxen acquaintance, who refers to him by the numbers tattooed on his wrist.
