For the second time in a week, a female intern was assaulted at Rikers Island, police sources said.
The psychology student from Adelphi University on Long Island was at the jail for field training and interviewing inmate Duane Belcher, when he allegedly lifted her skirt and knocked her to the ground.
Another inmate pulled him off and punched him in the face, the sources said.
On April 16, a 24-year-old medical intern was pummeled by an inmate, suffering a broken jaw and facial fractures, the sources said.
