Woman fights back during stairwell attack in Brooklyn

A brave Brooklyn woman fought off a would be rapist after he cornered her in the hallway of her apartment building Saturday, cops said.

The 30-year-old victim was walking up the stairs to her third floor apartment around 1 a.m. on President Street when the creep tried to talk to her, cops said. When the woman tried to keep walking, the violent fiend pushed her to the ground, according to police.

The attack was caught on video surveillance as the two wrestled on the floor.

He’s seen in the video fleeing down the stairs and leaving the woman on the hallway floor.

The suspect is believed to be in his 20s, about 130 pounds and 5-foot-9.

Police said he had a clean shave with a close-cut hairstyle and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene, cops said.
