The most shocking thing about Miley Cyrus’ latest music video appearance is that there’s nothing shocking about it.
Hot off his chart-topping hit “Happy,” Pharrell Williams has dropped a music video for his song “Come Get It Bae” featuring Cyrus. The track is the third single off his album, “G I R L,” following the less-than-blockbuster “Marilyn Monroe”.
The video begins by laying out its message plainly, with “BEAUTY HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE” flashing across the screen. This is followed by lots of pretty ladies dancing, before segueing into Miley pretty much just pouring some sugar into a cup coffee and bopping around a bit.
With this year’s MTV Video Music Awards scheduled for Aug. 24, here’s hoping the pair try to outdo last year’s now-infamous spectacle.
