Suspected drunk driver kills Michael Jordan’s caddy

One of Michael Jordan’s caddies was struck and killed by a drunken driver in the Hamptons on Friday, The Post has learned.

Neil Fyfe, 29 — who has caddied for His Airness at the exclusive Bear’s Club in Florida — was headed home after his first day working at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton when a Jeep plowed into him around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, cops and sources said.

Several passersby attempted in vain to perform CPR on Fyfe, who died shortly after at Southampton Hospital.

Driver Jesse Steudte, 21, of Southampton, was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.

In court on Saturday, Steudte — a junior at upstate Hartwick College — said nothing as his attorney, Colin Astarita, entered a not guilty plea. He’s being held on $25,000 cash.

Prosecutor Maggie Bopp, who may still file tougher charges against the Jeep driver, said Steudte admitted to authorities that he had been drinking before the accident.

Distraught friends said Fyfe — who leaves behind a fiancee, Jen, whom he was set to marry this October — was a kind-hearted, hard-working caddy who moved to the US from Scotland to pursue his dream of working the PGA Tour.

He’s caddied for the likes of pro golfers Keegan Bradley, Luke Donald and Dustin Johnson, sources told The Post. And he’s also hit the green with Jordan at the Bear’s Club, where the basketball legend has a mansion.

“Michael Jordan loves Neil — he’s going to be very upset,” said assistant caddy master Frank Weatherwax, 54, who, like Fyfe splits his time between the Hamptons and Florida, as the golfing season changes.

Just last month, friends said a mischievous Jordan playfully tailgated Fyfe near the club, revving up the engine of his black Ferrari behind the caddie, who was riding a bike.

Fyfe — who had no idea Jordan was behind the wheel — flipped off the driver, told him to “F–k off” and kept pedaling.

Later on the course, Jordan left his game and approached the caddy, “What did you think of that Ferrari?”

Shocked, Fyfe had no comeback.

“I was just messing with you,” Jordan laughed, according to sources.
