Rough week for Rob Ford, but he’s winning his Raptors bet!

Rob Ford, the troubled mayor of Toronto, announced he is headed to rehab for his addiction to alcohol and crack. He may have a Jay Z or Barbra Streisand album to bring with him.

The Raptors beat the Brooklyn Nets, 115-113, on Wednesday night to take a 3-2 lead in the teams’ first-round playoff series. That means Ford is one victory away from winning his bet with Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams. The stakes were a CD by a local artist — Ford had said he likely would send Adams some Drake. Ford turned down Adams’ initial stakes of a six-pack, citing public perception.

Ford is taking a leave of absence and will suspend his reelection campaign so he can “deal with his issues,” he said in a statement on Wednesday. His decision comes just as the Globe and Mail revealed images from a new videotape that appear to show Ford smoking out of a pipe. The person who shot the video, a self-professed drug dealer, said Ford was smoking crack, according to the Toronto paper.
