And the McConaissance continues.
In the first look at his upcoming movie, “Interstellar,” Matthew McConaughey says goodbye to his on-screen daughter before heading off to do some very important space stuff. Even with this first full trailer, very little is known of the film, which comes from respected director Christopher Nolan, fresh off his success with “The Dark Knight” trilogy and “Inception.”
What we do know is that McConaughey is part of a group of scientists who are going to take space exploration to new places after they discover a wormhole. Supposedly there’s going to be time travel and alternate universes, as well.
Jessica Chastain also stars — blink and you’ll miss her in the trailer — as does Anne Hathaway — even if you don’t blink, you’ll miss her, because she isn’t even in the trailer. Matt Damon, Michael Caine, John Lithgow, Topher Grace, Wes Bentley and Ellen Burstyn round out the cast.
“Interstellar” hits theaters November 7.
