Fans body shame celebs on social media (again)

Another week, another tirade of celebrity body shaming.

This round, we have social media to thank.

Everyone from Cheryl Burke of “Dancing With the Stars” fame to Bethenny Frankel has recently come under fire for being too skinny, thanks to images they posted of themselves on Facebook and Instagram.

Take a look at the posts that are pissing off fans.

Bethenny Frankel

The official “Skinny Girl,” Bethenny Frankel ignited a firestorm of controversy last week when she posted a pic of herself wearing her 4-year-old daughter’s clothes.

Frankel, who has admitted to an unhealthy relationship with food in the past, captioned the Instagram pic: “This is my daughter’s nightgown and PJ shorts. Think we’re ready to start sharing clothes yet?”

Critics found it disturbing to see a grown, 43-year-old mom mugging for the camera in her baby girl’s clothing.

One commenter wrote: “This makes me sick to my stomach!!! #eatsomething.”

The former “Real Housewives” star said it was all in good fun.

Candace Cameron Bure

On July 14, one-time “Full House” actress Candace Cameron Bure posted on Facebook about her upcoming five-day cleanse:

“After a very indulgent week in Napa, I’m excited to kick off my 5 day cleanse with @eatpaleta today!! Shakes for breakfast & lunch, sensible snacks & a light veggie dinner,” Bure wrote.

Fans immediately attacked Bure, a former bulimic, for sending an unhealthy message about food by publicizing her low-calorie cleanse.

She was criticized by one for not eating “real food.”

Another called her a “sellout.”

Bure went on the defensive, saying she was sticking with her protein-juice cleanse.

“I’m excited to start my five-day cleanse not to lose weight, but to get my body back on track, ridding all the toxins and unhealthy stuff I’ve put in it the last few months,” she justified.

Cheryl Burke

“Dancing With the Stars” star Cheryl Burke posted a photo of herself on Facebook looking ultra thin.

And suddenly, the same haters who used to call her fat immediately took to the Internet to say Burke was “anorexic,” or “dying of AIDS,” or surgically enhanced.

Burke’s post has gotten more than 1,000 comments on her new body.

One man said: “You look great except you are losing way too much weight,” and another fan chimed in: “What the heck happened to your lips???”

Burke kept her cool.

“I didn’t have plastic surgery and I don’t have an eating disorder. I’m just actually happy,” she told TMZ.
