Who’s laughing now?
Earlier today we hoisted two white flags to signal our complete surrender of the Brooklyn Bridge bicycle path to pedestrians.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office is going after a group of Twitter jokers who took credit for hoisting two white flags over the Brooklyn Bridge last month.
A Manhattan judge issued a subpoena July 23 demanding that Twitter hand over the names of the people behind the Bicycle Lobby account — who put up a tweet taking credit for the crime.
Yesterday the bikers backpedaled, saying that their tweets about the white flags, which mysteriously topped the bridge’s towers on July 22, were a joke.
But the humor was lost on the DA, which is investigating. The DA’s Office declined to comment.
