Perri Peltz heads up show on Sirius/XM

Former Ch. 4 reporter Perri Peltz will host “The Perri Peltz Show” starting Tuesday on Sirius/XM — with Tina Brown as Peltz’s first guest. The show, airing weekly, will focus on issues relevant to women and mothers. It will air Tuesdays at 11 a.m. on Sirius/XM Stars (Ch. 106) and will also stream via the network’s app and on siriusxm.com. Each show will repeat Tuesdays at 6 p.m.

Peltz, who also reported for “Dateline,” “20/20” and CNN, directed the upcoming HBO documentary “Remembering the Artist Robert De Niro Sr.,” premiering this summer and also directed the HBO doc “The Education of Dee Dee Ricks.”

Books and TV: Veteran “Extra” senior producer Yvette Corporon has written “When the Cypress Whispers,” a novel based on a World War II-era story about the Nazi occupation of nearby Corfu told to her by her grandmother, Yia-yia, who lived on the Greek island of Erikousa. Yvette will talk about the book 7 p.m. Tuesday at Barnes & Noble (2289 Broadway), among other media appearances.

More: “Homeland” star Claire Danes will provide the audiobook narration for Michael Cunningham’s “The Snow Queen,” out in May.

Online lifestyle video network ulive, from Scripps Networks Interactive, launches five new original shows on Tuesday . . . Hispanic TV star Raul Gonzalez has joined Telemundo to host an upcoming variety show next season . . . The new season of “Giuliana & Bill” premieres Tuesday at 8 p.m. on E! . . .
