$10K reward for information on murder of NJ teen

Authorities in Essex County, NJ, are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in Thursday’s perplexing murder of a popular 19-year-old college student.

It remains a mystery how Brendan Tevlin wound up shot multiple times inside his family’s bullet-riddled Jeep Liberty, parked in a West Orange, NJ, parking lot.

But Essex County cops are asking for help identifying two young men caught on surveillance running from the location at the time of the shooting.

Tevlin’s body was found a mile east of where witnesses reported hearing around six gunshots.

It’s not clear if he drove himself after the shooting. Investigators believe he was targeted — a theory that doesn’t fly with his family and pals, who say the affable teen had no enemies, only friends.

Tevlin had just finished his freshman year at the University of Richmond in Virginia, where he studied business.
