Teens slash school custodian in dawn attack

A school custodian was slashed in the face by three teens early Wednesday while he was shoveling snow at an East Harlem school, police sources said.

The 40 year-old worker was in front of PS 102 on East 113th Street near Lexington Avenue around 3:50 a.m. when the suspects walked up and asked him for the time, the sources said.

That’s when one of the teens pulled out a sharp object and attacked him, slashing him across the face, the sources said.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The three suspects only described as being in their late teens fled and no arrests have been made.
