Port Authority cop fired for drunk driving loses suit to get job back

A Port Authority cop who boldly called his 2013 ouster “draconian” — even though he was nabbed for driving drunk with two loaded handguns in his car trunk — unsurprisingly lost his lawsuit to get his job back.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Carol Huff noted that John McClave’s blood alcohol level was .19 — more than double the legal limit — when he was pulled over in his official PA vehicle in June 2012, adding that he’d previously been disciplined for firing a gun in the parking lot of a New Jersey bar.

McClave’s attorney did not return a call for comment.
