Karlie Kloss has an on-demand glam squad

When Karlie Kloss needed to get dolled up for her Warby Parker collaboration launch event in New York (below),
she called in the glam squad.

Enter Vênsette, an on-demand dream team of hairdressers, makeup artists and manicurists that make house calls.

Lauren Remington Platt, a former model-turned-financier-turned- beauty guru, launched the company three years ago.

Her inspiration? Starbucks, of all things.

“No matter who was making your coffee, you got a consistent experience,” she said. “I wanted to translate that to hair and makeup.”

The
secret to shrinking
 all-day magazine
 shoot prices,
making it doable
 for regular
 people?

“I said, ‘If
I can guarantee
 the appointments
are timed, so
you don’t have
to block out a
 whole day, and
I guarantee
 bookings,
 would you
 be able to
lower your
 prices?’” Platt
 says.

Stylists
said yes, and
 services
range from
 $150 for
 hair or makeup,
 or $350 for
the works.

A
 small price to pay
for pampering
by the team that
 beautifies Karlie,
 Dita Von Teese,
 Jessica Hart,
 Rachel Roy
and Petra
 Nemcova.
