College grad travels globe to film amazing marriage proposal

He would walk 500 miles just to be the man — to get hitched to her!

A lovestruck college grad from Montana traveled to 26 countries in four years to film a romantic wedding proposal in which he lip-synched the tune “500 Miles” by The Proclaimers.

Jack Hyer, 22, went out with Rebecca Strellnauer for the first time, as a freshman, in September 2010 — and knew right away she was the one, the Daily Mail reported.

Shortly after the date, the college Casanova began filming an elaborate video in which he lip-synched the song — about being in love, despite distance — in dozens of countries across the globe.

In the heartfelt video, he sings the tune at famous international sites, including Big Ben in London, the Great Wall of China and the White House. He also belts it out in front of camels, while on a boat and surrounded by palm trees.

The lovebirds both graduated from the University of Montana last week — and Hyer popped the question while celebrating with friends and family.

He told everyone he wanted to show a graduation slideshow — but instead played the video, then proposed.

“I’ve been on many adventures. I’ve traveled on elephant, on camel-back, hiked to the lowest point on the Earth and I’ve gotten to see some of the highest,” he said, according to the Daily Mail.

“But the best adventure I’ve had is loving Becca.”

She burst into tears and said, “Yes.”

Hyer was required to travel internationally because he studied international business.

He filmed the video in countries including Cambodia, Israel, China, Greece, France, England and Turkey.
