Fallon & Timberlake’s 5 best sketches

Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake’s bromance is well-documented, not least of all through their frequent collaborations, first on “Saturday Night Live” and then on “Late Night.”

With Timberlake set to make his first visit (of what we can only assume will be many) to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Friday, here’s a look back at the hilarious duo’s most notable sketches. Will they revive any of these bits on Friday’s show? We can only hope.

The History of Rap

This four-part series (clocking in at an impressive 20 minutes) goes through classics from Run-DMC and Jay-Z to Eminem and Kanye West, with The Roots providing the soundtrack, covering 78 songs in total.

#Hashtag

The duo debuted this segment, in which they have a conversation while adding an annoying hashtag at the end of every sentence, on “Late Night” last September. On Wednesday, Fallon revived it on “The Tonight Show” with Jonah Hill (and a cameo by Martin Scorsese).

Evolution of end zone dancing

Following the wildly popular “Evolution of Mom Dancing” with First Lady Michelle Obama, Fallon and Timberlake tackled the history of touchdown celebrations. On Monday’s “Tonight Show” premiere, Fallon expanded the franchise with the “Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing” with Will Smith.

Singing at summer camp

Fallon reminisces about sleep-away camp at Lake Winnipesaukee, complete with a “young” Timberlake and Fallon singing “I Only Wanna Be With You” by Hootie & The Blowfish and a Topanga reference. Ah, the ’90s . . .

Wrappinville

When Fallon returned to “SNL” to host its Christmas episode last December, of course Timberlake joined him as musical guest. In the cold open, they took us to “Wrappinville,” rapping while dressed as a festive gift bag and roll of wrapping paper.
