New Yorkers can get a little closer to Kate Middleton’s style, thanks to the latest import.
Hobbs, the London-based brand that made the Duchess of Cambridge’s St. Patrick’s Day pine-green coat, opened an outpost this week in Bloomingdale’s 59th Street store — and its dresses, shoes and coats are sure to be a hit with royal-style watchers who appreciate Kate’s demure fashions.
Just don’t expect a bargain: Jersey dresses start at $140 while a pair of black pumps will set you back $260.
Expect to see more of Hobbs creations cropping up in Bloomie’s stores in Boston, Pennsylvania, Virginia and New Jersey.
The wearing of the green
Kate wore this green topper — dubbed the Persephone — to the St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Miraculously, it’s still available on the store’s Web site for $345.
Death by chocolate
The Duchess of Cambridge certainly doesn’t look like she eats much chocolate, but she does wear it. Earlier this month she donned this brown number with a matching slim belt.
Polka-dotted princess
Last May, a pregnant Duchess donned this spotted coat with a fascinator to a cruise-ship naming ceremony.
Pretty in plaid
In July 2012, Middleton accessorized her pretty plaid dress with a white belt and the future King of England.
