‘Married at First Sight’ couples get hitched

Last week the new FYI reality show “Married at First Sight” matched six strangers into three scientifically perfect couples that would legally wed the moment they first meet.

In the second episode Tuesday night, all three couples said “I do” — some more enthusiastically than others. Here’s a look at how the three arranged nups went down.

Otis had a freakout moment at the altar last week when she wasn’t immediately attracted to her husband, worrying that she had made the worst decision of her life.

But she managed to pull it together enough to say “I do” in Tuesday night’s episode.

“I’m just going to go through the motions,” she says. “I’m just going to do what I have to do to be done with this.”

But she continued to be visibly jilted when having to take wedding photos with Hehner.

“The photographer is putting us together and wanting us to be cozy and I’m feeling so uncomfortable,” she says. “He’s a bit touchy which is nice — but like not really…I was so confused. I just felt so overwhelmed. I found a corner and started crying.”

Otis eventually calmed down enough to take her first dance and playfully shove some cake in her new hubby’s face.

“There were little hints of her giving it a shot and starting to be open,” Hehner says. “And that’s when it started to feel real, like a real wedding.”

“When I saw her walk out, I could tell she was nervous,” Copeland says. “I thought she was going to pass out.”

“When we’re walking out I’m thinking, ‘This first impression is terrible,’ ” Bell says after the two say their vows. “This man must be thinking, ‘What did I just marry?’ He and I walk out into the hallway, and I had an immediate anxiety attack. I find the nearest wall and I just lean up against the wall.”

The two also had to endure the forced intimacy of the photo session.

“It was a little bit uncomfortable at first, holding hands, putting them around her hips,” he says.

“Looking into his eyes was so awkward, almost like an invasion of each other’s personal space,” she adds.

But at the reception, the two finally lock lips when their guests clink their glasses in encouragement.

“His lips are nice,” Bell admits. “I wasn’t mad.”

Cortney Hendrix and Jason Carrion

“Are you freaking out?” Hendrix asks her groom when she meets him at the altar.

“All the emotions were running through me at that time,” Carrion says. “I could easily say ‘no.’ I could easily back out of this.”

He finally says “I do” and kisses his bride on the lips (the only “Married at First Sight” couple that did so at the altar).

“He kisses me, and our friends just erupt,” she says. “That was one of the best feelings of the ceremony.”

“At that moment her friends, my friends, everyone approved,” he says.
