Don’t Miss: Season 3 premiere of HBO’s ‘Veep’

“Parenthood” (Thursday, 10 p.m., NBC)

Crosby (Dax Shepard) finds himself in a tough housing situation and reaches out to Joel (Sam Jaeger) for help. Julia (Erika Christensen) musters up the courage to talk with Sarah (Lauren Graham) about her life problems. Poor Kristina (Monica Potter) receives some devastating news and puts all her energy into fighting for the charter school. Meanwhile, Amber (Mae Whitman) also hears of unsettling news, and Hank (Ray Romano) steps up to the plate. Also starring Peter Krause and Max Burkholder.

“Veep” (Sunday, 10:30 p.m., HBO)

In Iowa, Selina (Julia Louis-Dreyfus, left) courts possible caucus voters at a book signing for her new autobiography, while her team attends a staff wedding in Washington, DC. As the day proceeds, she and her staff get word of a rumor that could affect the next election.

“NCIS” (Tuesday, 8 p.m., CBS)
After returning to her job at the Department of Defense, McGee’s girlfriend Delilah (Margo Harshman) finds a break in a controversial case, prompting her to turn to the NCIS team for help. Only too glad to have his babe on board, McGee (Sean Murray, right) talks to DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly, left) about whether he should ask Delilah to move in. The series also stars Mark Harmon and Pauley Perrette.

“Scandal” (Thursday, 10 p.m., ABC)

A security breach calls for an all-hands-on-deck situation at Olivia Pope Associates, where many staff members are found hyperventilating. Fitz’s (Tony Goldwyn) re-election campaign becomes stalled and he considers going against Olivia’s (Kerry Washington, right) advice. Cyrus (Jeff Perry) hyperventilates. Meanwhile, Adnan (Nazanin Boniadi) and Maya (Khandi Alexander) continue to plot their next dastardly move. Maya does not hyperventialte.

“The Americans” (Wednesday, 10 p.m., FX)

Philip (Matthew Rhys, right) uses his agent Charles Duluth to help him gain access to an early precursor to the Internet so that the KGB can bug American government communications. Nina (Annet Mahendru) faces the threat of a potential FBI polygraph exam, bringing her closer to KGB colleague Oleg (Costa Ronin). Also starring Keri Russell (left).

“Chicago Fire” (Tuesday, 10 p.m., NBC)

Lieutenant Severide (Taylor Kinney) sticks his neck out for Dave Bloom (W. Earl Brown), a Denver firefighter troubled by addiction. Meanwhile, Jones (Daisy Betts) struggles with the knowledge that her father is pressuring Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) about her career. Mouch’s (Christian Stolte) Internet dating profile gets an upgrade with the help of Mills (Charlie Barnett) and the guys. David Eigenberg co-stars.
