Buscemi lands ‘Park Bench’ Web series

First there was “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” — now there’s Steve Buscemi in conversation on a park bench.

The “Boardwalk Empire” star has signed on to host a New York-centric “talking show” for AOL, which will feature the actor talking to average New Yorkers and his celebrity friends about pop culture and current events.

Titled “Park Bench,” the Web series will film on the streets of New York and give watchers a local’s view — Buscemi is a lifelong resident — of the city’s people, places and spirit.

The show is produced by RadicalMedia and Olive Productions and will be part of an AOL Originals lineup that also includes Hank Azaria’s “Fatherhood” and the Sarah Jessica Parker-produced “city.ballet.”
