She’s only 17, but Chloë Grace Moretz has mastered the art of both red-carpet and off-duty dressing like someone twice her age.
The pretty blond starlet has spent the last month globe-trotting among Cannes and Los Angeles and Toronto — and showing off remarkable style chops with every stamp on her passport.
Age of innocence
On Sunday, she showed up to the MMVA Awards in Toronto wearing a sheer, but age-appropriate Marios Schwab frock.
Grunge genie
Earlier in the day, she dressed casually in ripped black jeans, a T-shirt emblazoned with “Paris” and a flannel, looking like any genetically blessed teen.
Tres chic
The actress, who is flawlessly executing the transition from child star to ingénue, spent the better part of last month’s Cannes film festival promoting “The Clouds of Sils Maria” looking glamorous and cool in Chanel couture.
In fact, standing next to her co-star, a brooding Kristen Stewart, it’s obvious that Moretz has an inherent flare for making style seem effortless.
California kid
But back on US soil, Moretz mixes ripped jeans with slip-on sneakers and straw hats and makes everything, even repeat togs, seem fresh.
While already lauded for her fashion choices, something tells us Moretz won’t have many sartorial regrets in the years to come.
