Judge breaks down at sentencing of Queens pervert

A Queens judge’s voice cracked with emotion and he buried his head in his hands Monday before he sentenced a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” to up to 32 years in prison for sexually assaulting his niece and hoarding kiddie porn.

“The victim was only 7!” spat Queens Supreme Court Justice Richard Buchter, slamming perv Kerbet Dixon.

“[Dixon] cultivated the image of ‘Uncle Kirby’ to his nieces, but kindness didn’t motivate him. He cozied up, engaged and groomed them into sacrificial lambs. A diabolical uncle was unmasked,” said Buchter as he put his face in his hands.

In addition to the sickening sex charge, Dixon was nailed for possessing more than 500 kiddie-porn images.

“Innocent children were exploited in his porn collection, children engaging in sexual acts with adults, some with the look of a deer in headlights, images I’ll never forget, I’ll never forget their little faces, young children,” paused Buchter as he wiped his forehead. “Objectified, degraded for the heartless and repulsive satisfaction of a pedophile!”

Dixon, 50, a former Queens housing court officer and volunteer assistant girls basketball coach at Murry Bergtraum HS in Manhattan, remained silent for the first time in weeks and didn’t offer any apologies.

Dixon attacked the child inside of the Springfield Gardens home that he shared with his wife and three children from June 2009 until June 2011.

He also had been charged with sexually assaulting two other nieces, but those cases ended in mistrials.

As part of a deal, Dixon pleaded guilty to charges in those cases.

“In an interest of justice, to avoid another trial and compelling the victims to testify again, the defendant will plead guilty to the remaining counts,” Buchter noted.

Prosecutor Kenneth Appelbaum read from an impact statement written by Dixon’s youngest victim’s family.

“We truly did love you in our family and it saddens us to know you did the ultimate betrayal … You’ve damaged these girls for the rest of their lives,” it said.

Dixon had several supporters in the courtroom and up to 10 letters to the judge pleading for leniency, which Appelbaum said he found to be “scripted” and “disingenuous.”

The prosecutor also read from a now-famous victim-impact statement from a girl named “Vicky.” The child had been raped by her father years ago, and a tape of the horrific attack is still circulating among pedophiles.

The statement is read by prosecutors in Queens County and across the country in cases where a defendant’s porn stash included Vicky’s video.
