Couples in Italy searching for a lovers’ lane no longer need to park at some shady spot in the woods or drive up to some remote lookout to fool around — there’s now a guarded car park for that!

Love Parking is a seductive business set up in the southern Italian city of Naples, where the streets are not known for being particularly safe for late-night spates of lovemaking, Central European News reports.

People in the suburb of Casoria and travelers passing through will only have to pay around $8 in exchange for a little privacy and a safe place to hook up.

Couples just pull into their very own partitioned-off parking spots, which are protected by security guards who guarantee that all backseat intimacies will remain protected and unseen.

But Love Park manager Luigi Gelsomino doesn’t think violence and peeping toms are the only reasons why business is sure to be booming when they open. He instead points to the surprising statistic that 52 percent of Italian men between ages 25 and 34 have not yet moved out of the homes where they were raised.

“Young men who live at home with their mothers watching everything still want to spend some time with their girlfriends and sometimes the only private place they can find is the car,” he said. “We offer them a secure place to park so that they can enjoy some intimate time privately.”

Italy’s economy has recently taken a blow in terms of the number of jobs available in the region, so many people simply can’t afford a home or even a hotel to meet up for a passionate rendezvous, according to CEN.

“We officially open the service next week, but it’s amazing how many people have already been turning up,” Gelsomino added. “You could say they were queueing down the street to get in.”
