Cuffs for big bro, 23, who ‘lost’ li’l bro, 5

A Queens boy learned the hard way he can’t count on his big brother.

Zackary Nazario, 5, was missing for more than eight hours after he was frightened out of his South Ozone Park home by a cockroach — while his baby-sitting 23-year-old brother was out buying a beer.

Little Zackary, wearing nothing but his cartoon underwear and carrying a red blanket, fled the house at about 1 a.m. yesterday.

A good Samaritan told cops she found him on the street at about 2 a.m. and kept him safe at her house until the morning, police sources said.

He was reunited with his mother and examined at Jamaica Hospital.

Zackary’s brother, Wilson Morales — who said he thought the kid was asleep when he went to the store — was arrested and charged with child abandonment and child endangerment.

Rather than blame himself, Morales faulted the shopkeepers on Rockaway Boulevard for not spotting Zackery.

“Didn’t they see a boy wearing only underwear and carrying a blanket and no shoes? How could you not see him?” Morales told The Post before his arrest.

He said his mom, a nurse who was at work, is furious.

“Now my mom wants to kick me out,” he said. “This is the last straw for her.”
