‘Hoarders’ stars plea to save show

Several on-air experts who appear on A&E’s clutter series “Hoarders” went on social media to express their fears the reality show will be canceled.

“Hoarders” wrapped its sixth season Monday night, and even before the episode aired, its “stars” were urging fans to tune in. “It makes a big difference in the ratings, that is, if you want another season,” clinical psychologist Dr. Robin Zasio wrote on Facebook, according to realityblurred.com.

“We have not been picked up for a 7th season, so this could very well be the LAST episode of HOARDERS – EVER,” professional organizer Matt Paxton wrote. “. . . the show has NOT been canceled, it just hasn’t been renewed.”

“Hoarders,” which once averaged 2.3 million viewers, fell to 1.2 million viewers last season.

“No decision on a new season has been made yet,” an A&E spokesman told The Post.
