Death rap likely for lipo doc

A shady Park Avenue doctor is expected to be charged with manslaughter this week for performing a risky liposuction on a heart-transplant patient who later died, officials said.

Dr. Oleg Davie conducted the fatal procedure on former Dr. Oz heart-transplant patient Isel Pineda, 51, in May 2012. The lipo surgery is considered dangerous for vulnerable cardiac patients.

“Dr. Davie was aware of the decedent’s surgical history, specifically her cardiac transplantation, . . . but willfully disregarded it and proceeded with the liposuction,” the city Medical Examiner’s Office ruled in an autopsy report. “By doing so, he acted in a negligent manner that resulted in her death.”

Sources added that Davie falsified Pineda’s medical-disclosure forms after her death to cover up his knowledge of her cardiac history.

Davie’s checkered malpractice record led state health officials to yank his medical license in December, calling him “an imminent danger” to patients.

Although he could not be reached for comment, sources said Davie, who has offices in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, is expected to turn himself in to face the second-degree-manslaughter charge.

“Once this all happens on Thursday, I will have some satisfaction,” said Pineda’s brother, Marni Pineda.

“[Davie] deserves this. He deserves time.”

The fuming sibling said that he also plans to sue the disgraced doctor.

“I’m going to sue his a– for as much as I can for my family,” he vowed. “He messed up a lot of people, not just my sister.”

Pineda said he still keeps the outfit his sister wore on the day of her death in his trunk.
