The Yankees-A’s game is being delayed due to an outage of the stadium light at O.co Coliseum in Oakland.
The outage occurred in the middle of the fourth, about 8:19 p.m. Pacific time, 11:19 p.m. in New York.
The A’s are leading, 2-1.
No immediate reason was given for the outage.
The outage was originally only supposed to last 10 minutes, but the lights did not heat back up until 35 minutes later. The game re-started just before midnight Eastern time after about a 40-minute delay.
