‘Psych’ ends as star Roday moves to big screen

James Roday will take his final bow on USA’s “Psych” Wednesday night — but he’s only about to get busier.

Roday’s big-screen directorial debut, “Gravy,” will make its world premiere and open the Sixth Annual Friars Club Comedy Film Festival, which runs the week of April 1-5. “Gravy” is described as “an irreverent horror-comedy” with a cast including Sarah Silverman, Gabourey Sidibe, Sutton Foster and Paul Rodriguez who “become engaged in a life-and-death battle after some customers order up a special cuisine” (whatever that means). The festival will also be screening “Committed,” a documentary co-directed by Howie Mandel, in which Mandel follows comedian Vic Cohen for 13 years while Cohen tries to become a successful stand-up comic.

The quirky “Psych,” on which Roday co-stars with Dule Hill, will air its series finale 9 p.m. Wednesday. The show aired for eight seasons.

Last, but not least …

On Ch. 55: Celebrity cooking maven Sandra Lee subs for Rebecca Budig Wednesday and Thursday on “The Better Show” (6 a.m.); then, on Friday, Joan Rivers guest-hosts for an hour on “Live From the Couch” (7-9 a.m.) to promote the new season of “Joan & Melissa” . . . The 76th annual Greek Parade airs live this Sunday (2 p.m.) on Ch. 9 with anchors Ernie Anastos and Nicole Petallides . . . That was rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson celebrating the launch of his new Starz drama series, “Power” (he’s producing), at Tokya (East 58th).
