A gunman wanted for firing at cops during a wild chase in Queens last week was collared by New Jersey police Friday afternoon, cops said.
Christian Mosquera, 20, was spotted shooting at another man in Elmhurst at about 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, cops said.
When a NYPD sergeant and police officer on patrol in a marked police car ordered Mosquera to drop the gun, he spun towards them and opened fire, cops said.
The cops shot back but nobody hit anything.
Mosquera dropped a .22-caliber handgun as he ran away from the sergeant and officer, cops said.
The quick-fingered Mosquera was busted in Union City after a week-long manhunt. He hadn’t yet been charged Friday night.
