NJ teen bomb charge

A teen was charged with possessing explosives yesterday after police foundseveral bombs at his Edison, NJ, home.

Cops raided the teen’s residence on Sunday after they were tipped off by a local resident who responded to a flier seeking information about a number of bomb threats made recently at Edison HS.

Cops don’t believe the explosives were connected to the threats, but the Edison police chief said the weapons were deadly.

The teen was released to a family member. His name was not released because he is a minor.
