Jurgen Klinsmann is now the enemy.
Germany’s top-selling paper, “Bild,” took a shot at Klinsmann, who will be coaching the US team against his home nation in the World Cup on Thursday.
The tabloid paper has a picture of Klinsmann, who has starred and coached on the German national team, with a black eye, lolling tongue and a headline that translates to: “You will see stars,” according to The Score.
Both teams have four points and are in good position to advance to the knockout stage, but are also in danger of having their tournaments end early with a loss. The winner of the other Group G game between Portugal and Ghana could unseat the Americans or favored Germans.
