Adramatic season finale on AMC’s “Mad Men” was just the thing loyal fans were waiting for. The series posted its highest ratings for a closer yet — 2.7 million viewers, up from the usual 2.5 million.
In the sixth-season finale, Don Draper (Jon Hamm) was asked to take a leave of absence after embarrassing his colleagues by telling a client sordid tales of his childhood among prostitutes in Pennsylvania.
The seventh and final season of “Mad Men” will be back in 2014.
