Jeremy Sisto, late of ABC’s “Suburgatory,” has lined up his next TV role.
Sisto, who played a transplanted suburban dad for three seasons on “Suburgatory,” will co-star in A&E’s “The Returned” opposite Mark Pellegrino and Kevin Alejandro, according to deadline.com.
The 10-episode series (no premiere date yet) is adapted from an acclaimed French series about a village in which people who were thought to be dead suddenly return. It’s similar in tone to “Resurrection,” which premiered in March on ABC and has been renewed for a second season.
Sisto will play a psychologist who runs a grief support group for people in the town who lost relatives in a bus accident, according to the report.
“The Returned” is being developed by Carlton Cuse (“Lost”).
Sisto’s past TV work also includes a recurring role on HBO’s “Six Feet Under.”
