Brooklyn

* A quadriplegic woman was found suffocated in her bathtub as her 2-year-old son wandered around alone inside their Williamsburg home, police said yesterday.

The woman’s 41-year-old druggie boyfriend later confessed to killing her, saying he was high on crack at the time, law-enforcement sources said.

The victim was found after her mother requested a wellness check by cops and told them the couple had been fighting, police said.

Cops arrived at the Clymer Street apartment at 7:30 a.m. Sunday to find Melissa Torres, 32, lifeless in the tub. EMTs pronounced her dead at the scene.

The boyfriend, whose name has not been released because he has not been charged, turned himself in Sunday evening and confessed, the sources added.

Investigators believe that the woman was suffocated with a towel and that her body may have been moved to the bathtub as her killer tried to revive her, according to the sources.

The boyfriend has been arrested about 25 times since 1988, mostly for drugs, the sources said.* A razor-wielding drunk threatened to kill a building super who told the man to stop relieving himself in a hallway inside an East New York building, authorities said.

Sharif Avent, 33, was urinating inside the lobby of the Pitkin Avenue building at 3:55 p.m. Thursday when the superintendent spotted him and told him to stop and leave the building, sources said.

The trespasser then pulled out a razor blade, swung it at the building employee and snarled that he would “f–king kill” the super, a criminal complaint charges.

Cops found Avent nearby and recovered the razor blade, the complaint states.

Avent was charged with menacing, trespass, harassment and weapons possession.

* His 24th year is not off to a great start.

An overzealous birthday boy was charged with driving drunk in Bulls Head after telling cops he got carried away celebrating the night before, authorities said.

Charles Rizzuto was stopped by police at around 6 a.m. Thursday because his black 2008 Cadillac Escalade was parked diagonally on Dinsmore Street with the engine on and the keys in the ignition, a criminal complaint said.

Rizzuto’s eyes were watery and bloodshot, and he had alcohol on his breath, the court record states.

The blitzed driver slurred his words and was incoherent as he explained, “It was my birthday. I drank. I celebrated. I drove back. It was a hop, skip and a jump away,” the court documents say.

Rizzuto was charged with driving while intoxicated, according to a spokesman for Richmond County District Attorney Daniel Donovan.

* Cops have charged a Flushing man with stabbing his roommate.

Bulmaro Diaz, 25, had a drunken argument with the 24-year-old victim over privacy in their apartment at 147-21 Barclay Ave. at 10 p.m. Saturday, police sources said.

Diaz grabbed a knife and stabbed his housemate, the sources said.

The victim was taken to New York Hospital, Queens in stable condition, cops added.

Diaz was charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

* Four thugs who robbed two teens in a Jackson Heights home returned 10 days later and shot another man there while trying to rob the apartment a second time, cops said.

The thieves first walked into the basement apartment through an unlocked front door at the 97th Street home at 5:15 p.m. July 23, cops said.

They displayed a gun and demanded cash and jewelry from a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old inside, police added. The victims were not injured, and the thieves fled with the loot, according to cops.

Two of the robbers then returned to the home again Friday and convinced a 35-year-old man and a 26-year-old man inside that they were cops, police said.

The men let the thieves inside, according to cops.

One robber pulled a gun and used zip ties to restrain the older man while the 26-year-old fought back, police said.

That’s when the gunman opened fire, wounding the struggling victim in the leg, cops said.

The duo fled empty-handed, and the victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The victim, 39, was in a cab when it was struck by a car at Webster Avenue and East 187th Street at around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, the sources said.

No criminality was suspected, and no alcohol was believed to be involved, the sources added.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabus Hospital for treatment, but checked out despite doctors’ insistence he remain for treatment and observation, the sources said.

The man went to his girlfriend’s house on the Grand Concourse, lay on the couch and died, the sources said.

The car-accident injuries appear to have been a contributing factor, if not the cause of his death, the sources added.
