Knicks get Bucks in opener

The Knicks may be primed to get off to a winning start to the 2013-14 season.

The Knicks will open the campaign against the rebuilding Bucks at the Garden, according to a source. The NBA’s full schedule will be announced on an NBA TV special tonight.

The Bucks, who earned the eighth seed last season, lost top players such as Monta Ellis, Brandon Jennings, Mike Dunleavy and J.J. Redick during free agency.

While a Knicks vs. Nets opening game would have been fun, it was not to be, though they will face each other on Martin Luther King Day. The NBA source also confirmed the Knicks will face the Heat the night prior to Super Bowl Sunday.

The Post reported today ex-Raptor Andrea Bargnani will face the music real early as the Knicks have a preseason game scheduled in Toronto in October.

The Nets, meanwhile, will open their schedule in Cleveland against the Cavaliers, according to the source.
