Skirt-peep eye doc disciplined

This doctor has an eye for the ladies.

Upper West Side ophthalmologist Dr. Daniel Goldberg was busted for aiming his cellphone up the skirt of a woman riding the escalator at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and has now been sanctioned by a state disciplinary board.

Goldberg, 46, pleaded guilty in December 2012 to second-degree attempted unlawful surveillance in the July 2012 crime, and last month, the Office of Professional Medical Conduct issued a censure and reprimand against him.

A witness saw Goldberg standing directly behind the woman July 5, 2012, while holding his phone underneath her skirt, according to the criminal complaint against him.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I won’t do it again,” Goldberg told a PA police officer, according to the complaint. He added that he was arrested “because I did something stupid. I took a picture of a woman.”

He was sentenced to a conditional discharge and required to attend therapy sessions for one year.

A criminal conviction is considered professional misconduct by the office.

Goldberg is required to pay a $500 fine and take a class on ethics. He was placed on a three-year probation during which time he is mandated to see a therapist who will also monitor his practice.

Goldberg refused to comment.
