WHERE’S THE BEEFCAKE? WHY, RIGHT HERE, LADIES!

Just in time for summer beach reading, Jane magazine is coming out with a “beefcake special” issue of celebrity studs – in and out of their swimming togs.

The pectoral pictorial, set to hit newsstands July 10, features the bedroom eyes and washboard stomachs of everyone from Snoop Dogg and The Rock to comedian Shawn Wayans.

“Politically Incorrect” host Bill Maher even shows up as a hairy-shouldered stud looking like he’s about to bust out of his pants.

But the oddest artistic contribution comes from rocker bad-boy Scott Weiland.

Weiland, who has a long rap sheet for drug busts, poses lost in a reverie at the piano – totally nude except for some pink toenail polish.

The lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots tells the mag he was “a slave to narcotics” for years and is enjoying life now that he doesn’t spend all his time “scoring a bag so I wouldn’t get sick.”

Sorry girls, he’s taken – Weiland just got married and is expecting a baby in November with his new wife.

The mostly shirtless guys are photographed in a variety of conditions, including damp, wet and very wet.

The magazine will print four separate covers for their beefcake issue, featuring wrestling favorite The Rock, rapper Snoop Dog, “Starship Troopers” star Casper Van Dien and teen heartthrob Jason London.

The spread inside is light on clothes and heavy on underwear models.

Rick Yune, who models Ralph Lauren and recently starred in the flick “Snow Falling on Cedars”, tells the magazine his dream role would be Han Solo from Star Wars.

Michael Bergin, the former Calvin Klein underwear model who plays J.D. on “Baywatch”, drapes himself over the hood of a car for Jane and says he couldn’t be happier with his career.

“I basically get paid to sit on the beach all day, so I’m a happy camper,” Bergin says.

Antonio Sabato Jr., the uberman of underwear modeling, took time out of a busy acting schedule to stretch out at the pool for his photo shoot.

The former Calvin Klein clotheshorse says he’s putting together a production company to push his own projects, and recently put out an exercise book called “No Excuses.”

“Working out is the best thing you can do for yourself,” preaches the 28-year-old Sabato.

Snoop Dogg, who is trying to break out as a rapper-turned-movie star this year, says he still dreams of a different career – point guard for the championship Los Angeles Lakers.

Stephan Jenkins, lead singer of the band Third Eye Blind, poses on a bike with a parrot, and says he knew he wanted to be a singer when he was 7 years old and heard the Jackson 5 sing “ABC”.
