Hip-hop was the musical theme at Meatpacking nightclub Up & Down Wednesday night, where Christian Siriano totally disagreed with Carolina Herrera’s sentiments on New Yorkers having no style.
“New Yorkers have great style, and women should be able to wear whatever they want within the realms of what best fits their body type,” the “Project Runway” alum told The Post at the party hosted by NYCult.
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have other style pet peeves.
“Men underdressing,” added the designer. “I mean, really — sweatpants and dingy T-shirts just don’t cut it! Men should really try to put more of an effort in their look. There are so many options now for men to choose from . . . so use it!”
