Two of the city’s Strongest proved to be among the bravest as well yesterday, dousing a roaring kitchen fire on their route.
Sanitation men Eric Guanco and David Vargas saw Lois Sinclair running out of her home on 142nd Street in Queens at 12:15 p.m., screaming, “Fire!”
Grabbing a fire extinguisher from Sinclair’s nephew, the pair raced up to the second floor and put out a smoky blaze on the stove.
