Someone claiming to be the daughter of fallen General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson had some choice words for her dad’s former boss and employer following yesterday’s announcement that Henderson was stepping down, asserting in colorful language that Henderson’s departure was not his idea.
In a profanity-laced posting on GM’s corporate Facebook page, someone named Sarah Henderson challenged the company’s position that her dad resigned on his own, instead saying the longtime GM executive had been pushed out by Chairman Ed Whitacre.
“HE F*****G GOT ASKED TO STEP DOWN ALL OF YOU F*****G IDIOTS. I’M FRITZ’S F*****G DAUGHTER, AND HE DID NOT F*****G RESIGN. WHITACRE IS A SELFISH PIECE OF SHIFT [sic], WHO CARES ABOUT HIMSELF AND NOT THE F*****G COMPANY. HAVE FUN WITH GM, I HOPE TO NEVER BUY FROM THIS GOD FORESAKEN [sic] COMPANY EVERY [sic] AGAIN. F**K ALL OF YOU.” Henderson has two daughters aged 20 and 16.
The rant was later removed from the Facebook page.
Henderson himself was mum after the resignation news, and was absent from a company press conference announcing the leadership change.
