Carter’s son told of ‘blood’

Disgraced NY1 political anchor Dominic Carter’s latest round of wife-beating allegations came after his worried son told a high-school counselor about a bloody incident at the family home, a source told The Post.

Dominic Jr., 17, told the counselor on Friday he saw blood and a broken hanger on the floor of his older sister Courtney’s room — and the school worker immediately called cops, the source said.

The elder Carter yesterday admitted that police came to his Rockland County home but denied they made the trip to respond to a domestic-violence complaint.

“When the report is released, you’ll see that there’s no allegation of violence. There’s nothing,” insisted Carter, whose wife has repeatedly accused him of verbal and physical abuse. “You’ll see there’s not a single allegation of me striking anyone.”

He added that cops did not find any bruises on his wife’s body.

Ramapo Town Police had no comment.

Carter is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday for an attempted-assault conviction stemming from an October 2008 incident — when wife Marilyn had claimed Dominic beat and berated her, calling her a “dumb project bitch.”

Carter faces up to three months in jail.
