‘Jersey Shore’ slugger to get the ax

The tanked teacher who knocked out a “Jersey Shore” starlet on camera will no longer serve as a role model for Queens high school students: he’s being bounced.

Department of Education officials said they were moving to fire 24-year-old Brad Ferro, of Deer Park, L.I., in the wake of his blitzed-out boxing exhibition on the face of MTV star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi at a bar last summer.

Ferro had been reassigned from his gig as an untenured teacher at North Queens Community High School last month after The Post first identified him as the drunk behind the punch seen round the internet.

“We are in the process of taking termination action,” said Department of Education spokeswoman Ann Forte.

She said officials will soon mail Ferro his pink slip, which gives him 30-days’ notice before he’s technically knocked out.

Neither Ferro nor his lawyer could immediately be reached for comment.

Ferro’s cameo on the MTV reality show — which chronicles a posse of self-described “guidos” and “guidettes” over a summer of sauced-up sexcapades — started with an argument over drinks at Beachcomber Bar & Grill in Seaside Heights in August.

It ended almost immediately, with Ferro seeking to silence Snooki with a sucker-punch to the kisser.

He later told The Post he was so drunk he couldn’t remember the blow, for which he was found guilty of simple assault.

But Ferro remained in the classroom until an online MTV promotional video of the episode went viral last month — bringing scrutiny to the then-anonymous brute.
