Selena Gomez graduates high school

Selena Gomez is getting the last laugh.

She never attended regular high school classes, but got an old-fashion cap-and-gown graduation ceremony just the same.

The home-schooled “Wizards of Waverly Place” star updated her Facebook status yesterday to tell fans that she “graduated from high school and got my diploma.”

But on the same day, while on location in Budapest shooting the new movie, “’Monte Carlo,” she filmed a graduation ceremony for the film.

“So in a weird way I was able to experience an official graduation,” she wrote on the site.

The big question now is whether the 17-year-old will put her lucrative career on hold to attend college in the fall.

Her dream school, Gomez told The Post last year, is Northwestern University, north of Chicago.

The school has a nationally famous drama department, but Selena said she wouldn’t mind taking a journalism class or two.

Meanwhile, production on the third season of “Wizards” is complete, but Disney hasn’t announced a fourth season of the show yet.

As of now, Gomez will spend the summer touring the country, performing in the resurrected Lilith Fair.

Her next feature film, “Ramona and Beezus,” hits theaters in late July.
