Boy, 8, survives B’klyn SUV hit

An 8-year-old boy suffered head injuries after he was run over by an SUV in Brooklyn yesterday, police said.

Boruch Tyverg is “OK, and he’s going to recover,” said the child’s dad, Yassi Tyverg, at Kings County Hospital. Boruch was listed in serious condition, said police.

Boruch was crossing at Avenue J and East 32nd Street in Midwood with his mom and two siblings at 8 a.m. as the car approached, said cops.

His mom, Tessie, yelled for him to stop, but it was too late.

The 54-year-old driver of the 2004 Toyota stayed at the scene and was not charged, said police.

“This corner is crazy,” said a neighbor. “They always drive mad here.”

City Department of Transportation officials said they have no records of pedestrian injuries or fatalities at the intersection in the last five years.
