Agitated LI worker: ‘I’ll pull a Faisal on you’

Authorities took a Long Island man into custody yesterday after he threatened to “pull a Faisal” on his boss, apparently referring to Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad.

“He told his boss, ‘If I get fired, I’m going to pull a Faisal on you,’ ” a law-enforcement source said.

Shahzad is charged with trying to detonate an explosive-laden SUV at the crossroads of the world last Saturday evening. The fireball from the propane tanks and gasoline cans could have killed hundreds had it exploded properly.

Suffolk County cops were called to an office complex in Islandia just before 11 a.m. but after the threatening words were uttered, the source said.

The police call was classified as a “terroristic threat.”

The unidentified man — wearing a tie, a dress shirt and a sour expression — was handcuffed and taken in as an emotionally disturbed person.

The source said he was taken in for evaluation but not placed under arrest.
