The star — appearing in June’s W magazine — says she appreciates playwright hubby Andrew Upton’s honesty, even if his predictions are sometimes off base.
“I remember him saying to me after I made ‘Elizabeth’ [in 1998], ‘Sweetheart, you’ve probably got about five years,’ ” says Blanchett, who plays Maid Marian in the new “Robin Hood” flick. “He was preparing me for the time when the work dries up.”
