Animals play match to predict result of US vs Portugal

Members of the animal kingdom came together in China for a soccer match to forecast the result of the match between USA and Portugal, Europics reports.

A bear acted as goalie and an elephant played the ball, all while a chimpanzee made the ultimate decision of predicting the winner

Spectators watched at Changlon Wild Animal World, in Guangzhou city in southwest China as Jumbo the elephant put three goals past Balou the bear, all while a couple of meerkats acted as “linesmen” as they raced up and down the pitch.

In the end, the chimp made his prediction and raised the Portuguese flag high above his head. The game was a 2-2 draw, but try telling that to heartbroken US fans who had victory snatched away in the final seconds.
